This Week...

Wow! What a day or should I say what a week. This week has been extremely crazy and busy. Getting things ready for my 1st grade class Christmas Party was been fun but tiring. We made so many fun ornaments this week, plus trying to organize the party itself really ran me down. Yesterday, I had a doctor’s appointment at 3:30. We’ve all been to the doctor and we all know not to expect to see the doctor at 3:30. The nurse eventually called me back around 4:00. After she did her work up it was 4:15 and the wait for the Dr. was on. I was so tired that I dozed off while sitting there waiting a couple of times. Around 4:45 I began wondering if the Dr. was ever going to come in. Finally at 5:00 I began wondering if they forgot about me. Sure enough at 5:15 I hear a voice outside the door say “do we still have a patient in here”. As the door opens it’s the cleaning lady coming in to clean and is extremely shocked to find me. At this point I was MAD, VERY MAD! I went from being nice and patient to the Mad Pregnant Women!!! There was no one left in the office except for the nurse practitioner, a nurse, the cleaning staff and the office manager. I saw the nurse practitioner for about 5 minutes and she acted like it was no big deal that they forgot about me and couldn’t understand why I was upset. That’s when I unleashed on her. Needless to say I did not pay for that office visit and will not pay. It was finally 5:30 when I walked out of the office and it was very creepy leaving the dark building and no one was around. Then I had to fight traffic, it was around 7:00 before I got home. Friday morning came early. When I got to work the kids were so wild and excited about party day. Their Christmas party went well and they had a good time. We got out of school early today. I came home and crashed and didn’t wake up until almost 6:00. Poor Dallas had to make his own supper tonight. Needless to say I am so glad that today is Friday and I survived the week. The rest of the year will be a big wait. Wondering if I have to return to work in January or will Olivia bless us with her presence early.

Snow!

Dallas had to leave for the office before things started to melt and so he used our redneck snow shovel.

Dallas trying to keep Merlin from getting the snowman. Merlin knew that the snowman had a carrot for a nose and he was very excited. As soon as Dallas left for the office and I went back in the house he ate the carrot and then destroyed the rest of the snowman looking for more carrots.

My very first snowman.

Lucie Belle and Merlin looking for the snowball I threw.

Still looking!

Lucie Belle had little snowballs that kept getting stuck in her hair. It was driving her crazy!

Lucie Belle was so cold, but she wouldn't go back in the house.

Our house early that morning.

It was a very nice gift from God.
Check back later I will upload more fun snow pictures!

Outside at 2:00am

SNOW!

Last night I wasn't feeling well so I went to bed super earlier. I woke up around 2:00 am and couldn't go back to bed. I noticed that it was very bright outside for 2:00 am, so I peaked out the window to see where the light was coming from. I was amazed to see nothing but white on the ground and snow falling from the sky. I was like a kid again waking Dallas up and going outside to take pictures. Finally, I went back to bed around 3:00 am. When I got back up at 5:30 am I was amazed that it was still white outside. Southeast Texas in not known for snow and if it did snow it didn't last long. School was delayed until 10:00 this morning so the dogs and I enjoyed to snow.
